Rowing

Join our 2-day rowing school and navigate the river like a pro. Learn alongside a buddy from one of our skilled guides, focusing on safe and efficient navigation while maximizing your fishing opportunities on the river.

Curriculum (including, not limited to):
- reading water
- boat ramp and river etiquette
- boat positioning and handling techniques
- safety
- fishing techniques

Includes:
- lunch and drinks
- terminal tackle (flies, leaders, tippet, etc.)
- rod and reel
- transportation to and from the river

(Students must sign up in pairs)

Classes

Fly tying

Join Rainy's fly designer, James Mugele, in a personal tying session. James is available in person here in Livingston or via zoom to help you take your tying to the next level. All experience levels welcome.

Duration:
- 1-2 hours

- fly tying instruction

Fly fishing 101

Spend 4-6 hours on the river with one of our guides learning everything from how to rig your rod, to handling your fish for a a safe and proper photo.

Curriculum (including, not limited to):
- knots and rigging
-casting
- basic entomology
- fly selection
- reading water
- fishing techniques

Includes:
- lunch and drinks
- terminal tackle (flies, leaders, tippet, etc.)
- rod and reel
- transportation to and from the river

(Up to 2 anglers per guide)
