Alex's roots in fishing trace back to the Catskills, the historic birthplace of American fly fishing. Graduating from West Virginia University in 2016, Alex ventured into guiding in Livingston, Montana. Quickly recognizing southwest Montana as his lifelong home, he founded Livingston Trout Guides. With a wealth of guiding experience across numerous Montana rivers and lakes, along with ventures in Patagonia, Chile, Alex is well-equipped to curate an unforgettable and extraordinary fishing experience for you.

Coming from the same Maryland town as Lefty Kreh, James found his passion for fly fishing while at the University of Vermont. Evan's journey began in Memphis, where he cut his teeth fishing for bass in the waters of western Tennessee. Upon arriving in Montana, his love for angling led him to guiding, specializing in the Yellowstone River, Yellowstone National Park, and the neighboring watersheds. Evan's arsenal comprises a rare blend of patience and an unwavering commitment to sharing his vast knowledge. Similar to our other guides, Tom realized his passion for fly fishing couldn't be stuck in an office. Instead, he chose a career where he can share the joy of this wonderful sport with others like you.
